Joel, Billy : TurnstilesI really like Billy Joel and I can't remember this song really sticking out in my mind except for if someone says something like "I loved..." this title line gets in my head. My mind works somewhat like guy in Dream On - only with music as well as TV. Now, as I'm listening though, I really like it more.re-volt full version cracked
I was reading the lyrics on SongMeanings.net and trying to figure them out. It's pretty straight forward that the song is about a rich couple who have really lived the high life and now they know that they have to change their ways. They sound like a pretty crazy couple though in this verse:re-volt full version cracked

It's nice to come to that sort of realization and man, what a life to look back on. I'm just not clear if they lost their money (A few more nights on satin sheets/) or if they are just changing their bad habits. Who cares though? I do.*re-volt full version cracked
The song is really pretty and the mood fits the content well. The song sounds like a song at the end of a movie or a song used to pass time while someone ponders their place in life. Billy Joel is really good at that though - he really knows how to write music around lyrics (or vice versa, however he does it).re-volt full version cracked
