Okay, the last thing I want to do is turn this blog into an online video hub. But, I’d be a complete fool if I didn’t post this:

Thursday, January 24th, 2008Documentary “Spin” on YouTube
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008This is a really cool movie looking at the way the media can spin things by editing satellite feeds to suit their objectives. It’s a pretty balanced look at both sides of the political spectrum but if you’re counting minute by minute, it’s got more against the right. The person that made it was able to watch the satellite feeds by using his normal, everyday giant 80s satellite dish. Apparently, you could pick up both the broadcast and its feed in those days (I’m not sure if you still can with current satellite TV - probably not, since it’s basically a more expensive cable anymore).
My favorite stuff in the movie is Larry King telling each candidate (in the ‘92 election) how great they are doing in the election and then telling Clinton how fair and unbaised he [King] is.
Oh yeah, and disregard all of the Ron Paul crap in the “About This Video” section. Those Ron Paul guys are attaching his name to every video they upload, making it seem as if Ron Paul is a part of the video. In this case, it looks as if Ron Paul is distributing the video. In another case, they make it look like Keith Olbermann was supporting Ron Paul.
