Bible study last night was interesting. It caused me, again, to remember that I should be seeking the gifts more than I am. It’s intimidating to think that God can use me to heal others and speak words of prophecy to others. It’s scary to give yourself over to God in such a physical way.

Saturday, March 12th, 2005My friend Tom Beiser(sp?) gave me an idea for an experiment. We’re always talking about how to talk to people about Jesus and how it’s so hard sometimes. We don’t want to offend but we also want to be absolute and direct about a relationship with Jesus.
The next time you talk to someone about “God” think about how you say it. Do you say God or Jesus? I always have assumed that when you’re talking about God (in America) usually people will associate you with Christianity and then Jesus. I asked someone what they though when someone tells them about God and they said that they didn’t really think of Jesus.
This shows that we really need to talk about Jesus with people instead of just “God.” People need to hear Jesus…
