Big in Japan

Sunday, November 21st, 2004

Today is the day! I’m just burning some DVDs onto my hard drive so I can trade those in and get a little bit more money to put towards Sprung - a dating simulator by Ubisoft.

I’ve never really played a dating simulator but I know that they are big in Japan. I don’t have any particular need to find satisfaction in a simulator - I’m getting married - but it does appeal to me to try to win someone’s love in a puzzley-game fashion. I’m also getting Feel the Magic by Sega and that’s in the same genre. Can’t wait!

I’m also getting Super Mario 64DS which will be just as fun I imagine.

I never thought I would trade in games like I’ve been doing this past year but I haven’t paid for a game (or system) in a long time and it feels great!

I’ve quit my Netflix

Friday, November 19th, 2004

I just got an upgrade for my RAM so now I’ll be at 512MB which is the recommended memory for World of Warcraft. I’ve never played a MMORPG but I’ve been intrigued with this one since I love Warcraft and since the message board that I love to go to is starting a guild.

I’ve never played one before because I don’t like to pay for a game and then pay a monthly fee. Well, I’ve quit my Netflix and this is less a month anyways so it’s not like I’m doing anything different money-wise.

I’m really excited about playing and I can’t wait until next Tuesday. Between the Nintendo DS and this game, I’ll have a lot to play with.

The Office: Spike you like a football

Tuesday, November 16th, 2004

Conversation overheard in the bathroom while taking a dump:

Guy 1: Get out of my f-cking way.
Guy 2: Don’t make me flush you down there.
Guy 1: Don’t get any piss on your skirt.
Guy 2: Don’t make me spike you like a football into the f-cking tile.
Guy 1 & 2: hahahaahha

It’s so cool

I finally played it!

I found it at a second EB Games (EBX - it was called) at Polaris mall in Columbus. It was pretty cool. I only got to play Metroid and the Pictochat. Metroid was fun but not as fun as I imagine Pictochat being. It’s so cool to be able to draw pictures when you’re instant messaging. I never thought that I would care about it.

I do.

I’m a homo for weekend releases

Saturday, November 13th, 2004

I just finished paying for my Nintendo DS and now I’m all set to pick it up on November 21, 2004 - a Sunday of all days.* This is so great. I’m turning my blog into a Nintendo DS news site until it comes out and until I can get my old blog entries back in here.

I had to redo my whole site because I changed hosts and now I’m redoing everything and it sucks big time. Hopefully, I can actually get myself to do it - I’m so lazy. We’ll see.

I’ll keep everyone updated on my experiences with the DS.. I’m excited.

You should be too.
